iDelsoft - Get Hired. Work From Anywhere.
Product Analytics Manager (Europe)
About the job
(This is an analytics role, not a Product Manager role.) You'll own our understanding of how people actually use our product. We're a B2B SaaS startup, live with real customers, and there's more happening in our product data than anyone currently has time to look at. Your job is to find the patterns — what makes a customer stick, what quietly loses them, where the next unit of revenue is hiding — and turn those into decisions the team acts on. This is a high-ownership role. You'll work directly with Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success, and your findings will shape what gets built. What you'll do Own the picture of the customer journey end to end — first visit through long-term account — and know it well enough to notice when something changes before anyone reports it Investigate why metrics move. Chase anomalies to root cause rather than reporting that they happened Find the behaviors that separate customers who stay and expand from those who don't, and turn that into concrete recommendations for activation, engagement, conversion, retention, and expansion Design experiments properly: define success metrics and guardrails before launch, size them honestly, and say clearly what a result does and doesn't prove Pair the numbers with the people — sit in on customer calls, read support tickets, talk to CS — because the data tells you what happened and rarely tells you why Make the case for what should change. Bring evidence, propose a call, and be willing to argue that something on the roadmap isn't worth building Keep the company oriented with dashboards and analysis people can use without asking you first What we're looking for Must have: 4+ years in product analytics, with a track record of insights that changed what a team built B2B SaaS (minimum $10M ARR) product analytics experience — you understand account-level health vs. individual user adoption, multi-seat behavior, and what expansion and churn signals look like when the buyer and the user are different people Fluency with a product analytics platform — Amplitude, Mixpanel, PostHog, or similar — and comfort with SQL for the questions the tool can't answer Real depth in funnels, cohorts, retention, segmentation, feature adoption, and user journey analysis Experience designing and evaluating experiments, including knowing when a result isn't conclusive Strong product intuition — you form opinions about users and can defend them with evidence Clear writing and speaking. You can walk a non-technical stakeholder from context to options to recommendation without losing them Genuine curiosity. You go looking for things nobody asked you to look for Nice to have: Self-serve or product-led startup growth experience Familiarity with event instrumentation and tracking design Comfort with modern data tooling (warehouse, dbt) and AI-assisted analysis workflows
