Go to Mass.gov. Job Postings Edge Down

In Massachusetts over the past seven days, the total number of new job postings across all roles saw a rise of five percent, reaching 4,481 compared to 4,269 in the previous week. Among individual employers, Go to Mass.gov. posted 103 new jobs, a fall of five percent from 108 postings the week before. This change is a small decrease, not a surge or plunge.

Several factors may have contributed to this shift. It is possible that Go to Mass.gov. has completed a recent hiring push or is experiencing a seasonal dip in recruitment needs. Alternatively, the platform might be adjusting its posting strategy, or the crawl may have captured fewer new opportunities from this source this past week.

Other major employers also saw varied changes in their job postings. Mass General Brigham added job postings, rising by forty-five percent. Domino's experienced a surge, with postings increasing by one hundred ninety-nine percent. Venture Community Services Inc. added job postings, appearing with one hundred twenty-three new opportunities after having zero in the prior week, while Albertsons Companies saw a fall of twenty-six percent.
