The change may reflect increased hiring needs or a strategic focus on expanding its engineering team in the region.
Looking at individual employers, Roblox, ServiceNow, and Cisco all posted new job openings for software engineers in California. Roblox added eleven postings, ServiceNow added sixteen, and Cisco added thirteen. Each of these companies saw their software engineer job postings increase from zero in the prior week.
The increase in postings for software engineers at these companies could be driven by several factors. Companies may be responding to project demands, seeking to fill specific skill gaps, or adapting to a dynamic job market. It is also possible that the crawl captured a backlog of previously unadvertised positions.
