US Data Scientist Job Postings Fall

New job postings across all roles in the US fell by five percent last week. There were four thousand three hundred sixty-one new postings this week, compared to four thousand five hundred ninety-two last week.

Data Scientist roles saw a twenty-two percent fall in new postings. There were two hundred nineteen new postings this week, down from two hundred eighty-two last week. This fall may be due to a seasonal decrease in hiring or a shift in employer needs. It could also reflect a change in the availability of qualified candidates.

Software Engineer roles also experienced a nine percent fall in new postings. Product Manager roles saw a twelve percent fall. Full Stack Engineer roles remained unchanged, while Data Engineer roles rose by ten percent. The top states for Data Scientist postings were Virginia, California, and Maryland.
