MogiFlorida Sees Largest Growth in Tech Job Postings
Tech job postings in Florida saw a significant increase over the past four weeks.
By Felix Hartmann, Mogi Research · Oct 10, 2026
Florida experienced a surge in tech job postings, rising two hundred eleven percent in the last four weeks. This change is compared to the overall market which saw one hundred fifty two percent growth. Puerto Rico saw an increase of two hundred thirty four percent, and Maine saw an increase of two hundred eighteen percent.
This rise in Florida may be due to several factors. It could reflect increased hiring activity by employers in the state, or it may simply indicate a greater number of job postings being captured by the data crawl. The data shows that Software Engineer, Product Manager, and Full Stack Engineer were among the top roles posted.
The top employers posting jobs in Florida included Macy's, Marriott, and All. The data covers the period from September 13, 2026, to October 10, 2026, comparing it to the previous four week period.

Counts are job postings, not hires, from company career sites that Mogi's crawl found. Compares the 28 days to 2026-10-10 with the 28 days before them. Covers US, all states, all roles. Employers with fewer than five postings in the last eight weeks are grouped together and left out of the rankings. The company details come from the crawl's company profiles, where the crawl has one.
