The number of new backend engineer jobs posted in Canada rose by 62% to 26 in the last seven days. This increase may be due to a rise in demand for this role, or it could reflect a seasonal hiring pattern. It is likely that companies are seeking to fill roles to support new projects or expand existing operations.

While the overall number of backend engineer jobs posted in Canada saw a significant increase, Affirm's own postings saw a more modest rise. The facts do not provide enough detail to determine if this difference is significant or if it reflects differing hiring needs between Affirm and other employers.
