Overview Portable Ship Control System (PSCS), part of department 442, is an engineering team that designs and supports communications and navigation aids. In collaboration with vendors, the team performs a complete product development cycle, starting with concept development, then requirements definition, design, prototyping, qualification testing, software development, delivery, and post-delivery support. Knowledge of systems engineering, software programming, electrical/electronic circuits, hardware/software integration, networking, and cybersecurity are desirable.
