Job Description Splunk Tech Lead Onsite Phoenix c) Standardize Splunk forwarder deployment, configuration and maintenance across a variety of UNIX and Windows platforms d) Apply hot fixes/upgrade; e) Running and/or scheduling new Jobs; f) Monitor license usage Investigate new usage pattern Configure new data inputs/sources Generate reports on usage Health g) Check for indexers and forwarders Review/Update/Perform Backup procedures/testing. h) Troubleshoot Splunk server and forwarder problems and issues i) Monitoring System Resources. j)Design core scripts to automate Splunk maintenance and alerting tasks k) Experience in Python, Unix Shell scripting and use of regular expression is a plus...
