Sr Ruby on Rails Developer

We are seeking a Senior Ruby Developer to execute the full lifecycle of the product development, by programming well-designed, efficient, and testable code that meets specifications. Responsibilities Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code Design robust, scalable, and secure features Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring, and code standards) Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into the design Qualifications 3+ years of work experience as a Ruby on Rails developer (versions 4, 5, and 6) Proven work experience in software development Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JQuery Experience developing highly interactive applications A firm grasp of object-oriented analysis and design Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient code Good knowledge of relational databases (preferably MySQL) Working knowledge of NoSQL databases Demonstrate Rails fundamentals and best practices knowledge Preferred RoR gems: RSpec, Capibara, Spinach, http_party, rest_client, Savon, sneakers, PubNub, Twilio Education BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field If there is no formal college education +5 professional years of experience
