Software Project Manager

A pioneer and leader in end-to-end IT and digital solutions in Mauritius is seeking an Assistant Software Manager to join its team of dedicated professionals. The position involves developing innovative and cutting-edge software solutions to meet customer needs effectively. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Lead teams in business analysis, design, development, implementation, optimization, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software programs and applications Conduct meetings/presentations with customers Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while adhering to software development methodologies and best practices, and meeting quality standards and business objectives: Proposal writing Competencies & Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, information technology, or similar. Strong technical background and expertise in software development, combined with effective leadership skills In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as Python and JavaScript. Ability to keep up with software industry trends and innovation. Good organisational skills and abilities A minimum of 10 years' experience within a similar role Ability to mentor software developers, as well as to collaborate with all stakeholders. Strong project management skills Experience in liaising with customers and conduct presentations/meetings Excellent verbal and communication skills
