Software Engineer

Job Description
• Independently create code in various languages. This includes configuring, coding, developing, and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle.
• Collaborates and communicates with team, product owner, management, testers for feature / SW delivery.
• Develop quality backend code primarily in C# but also using PowerShell script, Java and other applicable programming languages.
• Design and develop front-end GUI implementations.
• Perform tests on software modules and complete systems. Develop Regression and Acceptance tests plans and generates bug reports. Provide software quality assurance (QA) function.
• Research, document, and implement program requirements and specifications.
• Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications.
• Act as Scrum Master for the development team; chairing standups, planning meetings, and other meetings as needed.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate is familiar with web software development, test automation, scripting, big data, and business Intelligence. Executes full software development life cycle. Designs and develop well-written, testable code to generate features related to the backend, front-end graphical user interface (GUI). Software engineering to collect, process, display data and interfacing with edge devices and the Cloud.
• Bachelor Degree (four-year college or technical school) Required, Field of Study: Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Minimum three (3) plus years of software development experience in web interfaces, database development, and middle-tier and front-end development
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in Scrum Master desired
• Software coding with various languages and technologies - Angular, React, C#, Python, Javascript, ASP.net, Blazor, Postman, JWT Authentication
• Databases - Databricks, SQA DB, ETL, Azure DB Pool configuration, Delta Lake
• Familiar with software development, test automation, scripting, big data, and business intelligence
• Scrum Master certificate preferred
