Software Engineer

GTX is an ETF market maker, quoting across European exchanges. We're a small team of traders, quants and engineers building the systems that price, hedge, and trade thousands of instruments in real time. Key responsibilities Design, build, and operate our ETF market making platform. Work directly with traders and quants to turn ideas into features across pricing, quoting, hedging, and risk management systems. Improve the reliability, resiliency, observability, and performance of our infrastructure Required 3-5+ years of software development in Java, Python, or C++ Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server, or similar) Experience shipping and operating services on cloud platforms (eg AWS, GCP, or Azure) Strong programming ability Excellent written and verbal communication skills Nice to have Exposure to trading, exchanges, ETFs, or other latency-sensitive systems Experience working with distributed systems or messaging systems such as Kafka A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field Benefits and perks: Casual work environment Private health insurance Small team with high ownership and autonomy
