Corridor Advisors
Senior Full Stack Engineer
About the job
ABOUT CORRIDOR
Corridor is the first AI-native employee benefits brokerage. We use AI agents to take on some of the hardest problems in healthcare for the people we serve. It’s a true AI-native services business, backed by blue-chip venture funds.
Our mission is to make health insurance and benefits actually work for the people who deal with them - the people who place coverage and the employees who live with it. It’s one of the biggest and most poorly served markets in the country, and the tools haven’t really changed in decades.
Our team is small and really strong, and our agents already do real work every day. What we need now is someone who makes that work feel easy for the people on the other side of it.
THE ROLE
This is a senior role at the tech lead level. You’ll own the agent experience end to end - data model, APIs, and UI - and you’ll be the voice of the user on our engineering team. That means spending real time with advisors and clients, setting the bar for what good looks like, and holding us to it. We’re not aiming for “it works.” We’re aiming for “people love using it.”
WHAT YOU’LL BUILD
The advisor console. Each of our advisors works with a lot of small businesses, with a team of agents behind them. You’ll build the place where they see what actually needs their attention, act on it, and hand work back and forth with agents. We want it to be the best agent orchestration tool out there, in any industry.
A benefits advisor for every small business. The tools small businesses use to work with us, from getting quotes to picking plans to getting set up. It should feel like having a great benefits advisor on call, without the paperwork.
The employee experience. ID cards, enrollment, changes during the year, and straight answers about coverage, for people who’ve never had a benefits advisor before.
The APIs and data models underneath. The services that connect all of this to our agents, carrier data, and operations.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Senior, by level and experience. 5+ years shipping production web products. You’ve led projects and made the engineers around you better.
Full stack reach. You’ve built polished, complex interfaces in React and TypeScript, and you’re just as comfortable with the API, schema, and Python services behind them.
A high bar for experience. You know the difference between software that does the job and software people love, and you won’t settle for the first. You have real opinions on what good UX looks like when agents are doing a lot of the work.
User empathy. You like sitting with the people who use what you build, seeing where they get stuck, and fixing it. You’d rather watch an advisor use your feature than read a ticket about it.
Ownership of outcomes. You take a fuzzy problem from the first conversation to shipped, then check whether it actually moved the needle. You measure yourself on results, not hours or tickets closed.
Comfort building with AI. You’ve built on LLMs, or you really want to. You understand how agents fail and how to design around that so a person stays in the loop when it matters.
Mission and impact. You want your work to make health insurance better for real people, not just to be technically interesting.
