Senior Data Analyst Job Brief: We are looking for a seasoned Senior Data Analyst to join our team and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Responsibilities: Lead the analysis of complex datasets to extract actionable insights and trends. Design and implement statistical models and algorithms to solve business problems. Develop and maintain data pipelines for data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and metrics for measuring performance. Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities. Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and trends. Conduct A/B tests and experiments to evaluate the impact of business initiatives. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through written reports and presentations. Mentor junior analysts and guide data analysis techniques and best practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in data analysis or related fields. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation from relational databases. Strong programming skills in Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib/seaborn. Solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques, such as hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and clustering. Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Hive. Knowledge of data mining techniques and tools for exploratory analysis. Experience working in agile environments and using version control systems such as Git. Certification in data analysis or related fields from recognized institutions. Contributions to open-source projects or participation in the data analysis community.
