Position: Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack (TypeScript, React, AWS) Type: Contract Compensation: $55–$75/hour Location: Hybrid, Seattle, WA Role Responsibilities Design and build robust TypeScript/Node.js services for EHR integrations and clinical workflows. Deploy and operate microservices on AWS using containerization. Build React/TypeScript provider- and patient-facing interfaces optimized for desktop and mobile. Develop integrations with patient-education and patient-engagement vendors, including notifications and tracking. Contribute to code reviews and system-design discussions, balancing quality with startup speed. Qualifications Must-Have 3 to 5 years of professional experience building production software systems using TypeScript/JavaScript . Strong computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, OOP design, concurrency, and distributed systems. RESTful or event-driven API development with Node.js (Nest/Express). Strong front-end skills with React and TypeScript , including mobile and desktop optimization. Comfort debugging across distributed services and working agilely in a startup environment. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident located in the United States; this role is hybrid, with onsite days in Seattle, WA. Preferred Healthcare startup or health-data integration background. High-throughput messaging platform experience. AWS , GCP , or Azure cloud experience. Tailwind CSS expertise.
