Apres Nail
Product Manager, Consumer Products
About the job
Key Responsibilities
• Monthly product analysis: pull and analyze sell-through, inventory turns, return rates, and customer reviews to decide what to reorder, discontinue, modify, or feed to marketing
• SKU roadmap: plan 2+ seasons of launches with data-backed rationale; set and maintain SKU data standards across ERP, website, and Amazon
• Launch timelines: build and maintain backward-planned schedules in Asana (design lock → production → launch); keep it as single source of truth; flag slippage before it happens
• Overseas manufacturing: primary contact with partners on specs, prototyping, quality, and cost; manage lead time and minor spec changes with authority; escalate pricing and major changes
• Design collaboration: brief designer with clear specs and timelines; document design decisions to turn experience into repeatable team standards
• Market insight: track consumer trends, TikTok, competitors, and price bands; turn observations into product proposals and roadmap decisions
Qualifications and Requirements
• You know what to measure, where it lives, and how to get it. You pull your own data from e-commerce and ERP systems and are fluent in Excel or Google Sheets. You make product decisions from the numbers
• 4+ years managing physical consumer products on a regular launch cadence: beauty, accessories, apparel, or fast-moving consumer goods.
• Real E-commerce experience with Amazon Seller Central (listing and variation structure, Brand Analytics, inventory, replenishment) plus DTC site experience (Shopify or similar).
• You have managed prototyping and production with overseas factories and know how to navigate international relationships
• A strong point of view on the consumer market. You can explain what is shifting and why and the ability to turn that into proposals.
• You're the connector who gets things done across teams: marketing, ops, design, and manufacturing trust your vision and follow your lead without you managing them.
• Ability to explain what is shifting the consumer market and why; and turn that into product proposals
