About the Role:

The Product Manager – Business Systems & Technology is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, development, integration, and continuous improvement of the technology products and platforms that power how RSM& operates.

This role serves as the product owner for RSM&’s proprietary operating system and helps shape the broader ecosystem of business applications that support how RSM& sells, plans, executes, tracks, and measures its work—including HubSpot, Asana, QuickBooks Online (QBO), and other business platforms.

Sitting at the intersection of users, technology, operations, data, and business strategy, the Product Manager works closely with functional leaders and the development team to identify business needs, define product requirements, prioritize development, and deliver scalable solutions that simplify work, improve visibility and accountability, and support RSM&’s growth.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for RSM&’s proprietary operating system and related internal business technology products

• Serve as the primary product owner and liaison between business stakeholders, users, and the development team

• Develop a deep understanding of how teams across RSM& work, identify pain points and opportunities, and translate those needs into product requirements, user stories, workflows, and prioritized development initiatives

• Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, user impact, strategic priorities, technical considerations, and available development resources

• Partner closely with developers throughout the product lifecycle, including discovery, requirements definition, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and iteration

• Define product requirements, acceptance criteria, business rules, workflows, and desired outcomes for new functionality and enhancements

• Establish feedback loops with users and functional leaders to continuously identify opportunities to improve usability, functionality, adoption, and business impact

• Define and track product success metrics, including adoption, efficiency, data quality, user experience, process improvement, and measurable business outcomes

• Guide the integration of RSM&’s proprietary platform and other business applications to create a cohesive technology ecosystem and seamless flow of information

• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, eliminate duplicate entry, simplify workflows, and improve the overall employee experience

• Partner with functional leaders to determine whether business challenges are best addressed through new product functionality, enhancements to existing systems, automation, integration, or process changes

• Maintain a holistic understanding of RSM&’s business systems architecture, data flows, and sources of truth to ensure product decisions support a scalable technology environment

• Develop reporting, dashboards, and product capabilities that provide leadership and teams with actionable visibility into business performance, capacity, utilization, workflow, and operational effectiveness

• Lead product releases and enhancements, including user acceptance testing, rollout planning, communication, documentation, training, adoption, and post-launch evaluation

• Manage relationships with development resources, technology vendors, and implementation partners as necessary to execute the product roadmap

• Evaluate emerging technologies and product opportunities that could improve RSM&’s operations, employee experience, client delivery, or ability to scale

• Participate in the evaluation and implementation of future enterprise platforms, including ERP solutions, ensuring they integrate effectively with RSM&’s broader product and technology strategy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Product Management, Information Systems, Technology, Operations, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience considered

• 5+ years of progressive experience in product management, product ownership, business systems, technology enablement, or a related function

• Demonstrated experience owning a technology product or platform from discovery and requirements through development, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement

• Strong experience translating business and user needs into clear product requirements, workflows, user stories, and development priorities

• Experience working directly with software developers, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders

• Strong understanding of product roadmaps, backlog prioritization, requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, product releases, and change management

• Experience with business applications such as CRM, project/program management, financial systems, resource management, time tracking, reporting, and workflow automation platforms

• Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, data flows, automation, reporting, and data governance

• Demonstrated ability to balance user needs, business priorities, technical constraints, and long-term product strategy

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data and user feedback to guide product decisions

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with executives, functional leaders, end users, and technical teams

• Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive initiatives from concept through implementation
