About the Role
We're looking for a Principal Product Manager to own the end-to-end strategy for our model deployment and inference platform. You'll work at the intersection of deeply technical ML infrastructure and real customer pain — translating complex system requirements into a product experience that data teams actually love. This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role reporting directly to the VP of Product.

What You'll Do
Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our ML deployment and serving layer
Partner closely with engineering, applied ML, and platform teams to ship scalable, reliable features
Conduct deep customer discovery with enterprise ML teams to understand deployment workflows, latency requirements, and monitoring needs
Own prioritization across a complex surface area including model versioning, A/B experimentation, inference optimization, and observability
Represent the product externally with customers, prospects, and analysts — contribute to sales enablement and competitive positioning
Establish and track success metrics (adoption, latency, deployment frequency, NPS) and use data to inform iteration
Mentor and coach other product managers on the team

What We're Looking For
8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on developer tools, infrastructure, or ML/AI platforms
Deep familiarity with the ML lifecycle — model training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining
Strong technical foundation — you're comfortable reading architecture docs, discussing API design, and engaging with engineers on tradeoffs
Track record of shipping 0→1 products as well as scaling existing products in enterprise B2B environments
Excellent communication skills — you can present a roadmap to a CTO and run a sprint review with engineers in the same day
Experience with competitive and ambiguous markets where customer needs are still emerging
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in a technical field is a plus

Nice to Have
Prior hands-on experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) or ML infrastructure (MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker)
Experience with usage-based or consumption pricing models
Background in platform or API product management
Familiarity with GPU infrastructure, containerization, and Kubernetes

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $195,000 – $240,000 (depending on experience and location)
Equity: Meaningful early-stage equity package
