This role is a contracting opportunity for an HCM Integrations Lead, supporting the Enterprise Applications team, a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to transforming the lives of patients with serious and rare diseases. This is a hands on role for the design, development, and delivery of Workday HCM integrations and enterprise integration solutions, while supporting automation and emerging AI-driven capabilities that enable continued growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

*Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of Workday integrations and technical solutions.

*Serve as the technical lead for Workday initiatives, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

*Provide architectural guidance across Workday Integrations, Extend, APIs, Orchestrate, and AI-enabled solutions.

*In addition to being hands-on, this role may lead Workday developers and integration consultants, providing mentorship, code reviews, and technical oversight.

*Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

*Establish technical standards, governance processes, and best practices across the Workday platform.

*Oversee integration development using EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, PECI, PICOF, CCB, XSLT, REST/SOAP APIs, and related technologies.

*Drive adoption of Workday Extend, Workday AI/Illuminate, and automation capabilities to improve operational efficiency.

*Manage technical deliverables, project timelines, risks, dependencies, and production support activities.

*Ensure compliance with security, audit, and data governance requirements.

*Troubleshoot complex integrations and platform issues, including root cause analysis and long-term remediation.

*Collaborate with internal and external partners to evaluate new Workday capabilities and platform enhancements.?

Required:

*10+ years of HCM technical experience, including at least 8+ years of Workday Integrations and technical solution delivery.

*Proven experience leading Workday technical teams and enterprise-scale implementations.

*Deep expertise in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, PICOF, CCB, Workday APIs, and web services.

*Strong experience with Workday Extend, Workday Orchestrate, and custom application development.

*Experience implementing and leveraging Workday AI/Illuminate capabilities and automation solutions.

*Strong understanding of Workday security, business processes, reporting, and integration architecture.

*Experience with enterprise middleware, cloud integrations, and API-driven architecture.

*Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and lead technical resources across projects and support activities.

*Strong knowledge of HR, Payroll, Talent, Recruiting, Compensation, and Time Tracking business processes.

*Familiarity with Agile methodologies, JIRA, ServiceNow, and DevOps practices.

*Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

*Workday certifications in Integrations, Extend, or related areas are highly desirable.

*Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI, and AI-enabled workforce solutions is a plus.

Preferred:

*Certification on one or more (Workday Pro Integrations, Workday Pro Studio, Workday Pro Extend, Workday Pro Orchestrate, Workday Pro Reporting)

*AI/ML, Generative AI, AI-related certifications preferred

Pay Range: $90-95/hr *based on experience
