Direct Response Database Developer

The Direct Response Database Developer is a data operations engineer responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing reliable, automated, and AI-enabled data pipelines that support direct response fundraising performance. This role ensures that client donor and marketing data moves accurately from ingestion through campaign execution, reporting, and analysis by managing data cleansing, transformation, mapping, validation, and preparation to create timely, trusted, and campaign-ready data assets. Working within the Campaign Operations function of Data Solutions, the Direct Response Database Developer partners closely with Data Analysts, client teams, and other stakeholders to translate fundraising and direct marketing requirements into scalable data solutions. The role requires strong SQL and relational database expertise, rigorous attention to data quality, and the ability to build increasingly automated processes that power audience segmentation, personalized direct marketing communications, campaign execution, analytics, and actionable fundraising insight.
