Job Description
Job Overview
As part of a team of passionate developers, the PHP Developer contributes to the integration and development of offers and operator connections on the Digital Virgo platform. The role covers development, integration, unit testing, software maintenance and continuous improvement, while contributing to technical and architectural discussions.
Key Responsibilities
• Integrate and create offers in line with business requirements.
• Develop the components required to connect different offers and operators to our platform.
• Carry out development, integration and unit testing during project phases.
• Contribute to team discussions and decision-making regarding technology and architecture choices.
• Ensure the maintenance, correction and/or evolution of all software developments.
• Identify and diagnose issues and proactively suggest improvements and corrective actions.

Qualifications
Candidate Profile
• More than 1 year of experience in PHP development.
• Strong command of MVC architecture in PHP and experience with the Symfony PHP framework.
• Previous experience in backend development and consuming REST APIs, SOAP web services and XML.
• Strong focus on code quality, maintainability and reusability.
• Adaptable, autonomous, organized and rigorous, with a commitment to delivering high-quality services using Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passionate about new technologies and actively keeps up to date with technology trends.
• A good level of English is required.
Additional Skills Appreciated
• Familiarity with Git / Git Flow and a good understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Familiarity with Redis and RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of Scrum / Kanban and Redmine / Jira.
• Experience with or affinity for React.js.
• Knowledge of the AWS (Amazon Web Services) environment.
• Proficiency with a PHP testing framework and TDD or BDD practices (PHPUnit, Behat, etc.).
• Good practical knowledge of the main PHP design patterns.
