Data Integrity Specialist
Position Summary
The Data Integrity Specialist is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of manufacturing and inventory data across company systems. This position plays a critical role in supporting production, purchasing, inventory control, and operations by ensuring product information, bills of materials (BOMs), inventory records, and system data remain accurate and up to date.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, comfortable working with computer systems, and has the ability to understand manufacturing processes and technical product information.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain and audit data within the company's ERP system (Infor) and related databases.
Create, update, and verify Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, part numbers, and inventory records.
Ensure manufacturing data is accurate, complete, and compliant with company standards.
Identify discrepancies and work with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Inventory teams to resolve data issues.
Perform regular audits to maintain data integrity across multiple systems.
Assist with new product introductions by entering and validating system data.
Generate reports using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve data accuracy and system processes.
Maintain documentation and follow established data management procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's degree or relevant manufacturing experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
Comfortable using ERP systems such as Infor or similar enterprise software.
Strong computer literacy, including email communication and data entry.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to quickly identify inconsistencies or errors ("one of these things doesn't belong" mindset).
Mechanical aptitude or technical comprehension with the ability to learn firearm components, manufacturing processes, and industry terminology.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
Experience working with Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, or inventory management.
Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Infor.
Experience performing data audits or quality assurance functions.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to learn technical product information quickly.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, formulas, and data validation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
Professionalism and discretion when handling company data.
Physical Requirements
Primarily a desk-based position requiring prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
Occasional walking throughout the manufacturing facility.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Ability to visually inspect documents, computer screens, and product information.
Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing facility and requires regular interaction with production, engineering, inventory, and supply chain personnel. The role combines office work with occasional time spent on the production floor to verify products, processes, and inventory information.Qualifications:
