JOB SUMMARY:

The Data Management Aide will improve and manage the quality of early childhood data record keeping and reporting at the agency level. Will collaborate closely with ERSEA Manager to maintain quality of program services and to ensure that data is gathered and entered accurately in the Database Systems in a timely manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitoring data management systems (Database Systems such as ECM, Early Bird and any new programming developed by the grantee(s)) at the agency level for all early childhood programming.
Handles sensitive information while adhering to confidentiality standards regarding staff, families, and children’s records.
Ensure documents in file match data system.
Review and approve enrollments, as needed.
Works with Health Aides to ensure health data is accurately entered into data management systems.
Supports all program managers to ensure all pertinent data is entered into database systems (such as enrollments, attendance, family and community engagement, health and more).
Travels to and supports all sites with entering and maintaining eligibility data to ensure accuracy.
Assists Compliance team with data integrity.
Assists in preparing data requests and reports.
Facilitates and participates in training courses that include, but are not limited to:

Chicago Commons Earlybird training(s)
Creating reports
Data Clinics
Attendance

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, all Gads Hill Center employees are responsible for the following:

Participating in agency outreach and recruitment events, including evenings and weekends.
Participating in supervision meetings and workshops within the agency and outside (if applicable).
Participating in civic engagement activities that advance the mission of Gads Hill Center.
Advancing parent leadership development.
Performing other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED.
Possess good communication skills.
Desire to continue career advancement.
Valid Driver’s License required with willingness to travel locally.
Experience with multi-cultural programming is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal communication and organization skills.
Ability to pass a criminal record and child abuse/neglect registry check.
A passion for the mission of Gads Hill Center.

POSITION DETAILS:

Entry Salary Range: $17.10/hour

Schedule: Full time (40 hours/week)

Status: Hourly
