Position Summary
Provides support for division’s clinical studies by 1) preparing, submitting and maintaining regulatory documents in coordination with the IRB, SRC, SPA and UNeMED offices, 2) consenting patients and procuring blood/marrow/urine/tissue specimens for non-therapeutic studies, 3) extracting, interpreting and collecting clinical data and source documentation for case report forms and data entry, and 4) supporting project facilitation for investigators and other clinical research staff.

Health Science or related field
(Will consider five years related education and/or experience combined of which two years must include related post high school education)

Required Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Excellent organizational skills
-Knowledge of clinical research and records review
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Computer literacy and familiarity with computerized databases
-Ability to work effectively with other team members
-Ability to prioritize multiple tasks/responsibilities
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Demonstrates knowledge and skill in addressing age specific needs of patients served
Preferred Experience:
Oncology/Hematology experience
Knowledge of Clinical Trials Research
Medical Terminology
Database Systems
Previous experience working with Physicians
Preferred Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge in conversational Spanish
- Familiarity with medical terminology especially in an oncology setting
