Function: Site Operations | Location: Odessa, TX | Work model: Onsite, with on-call rotation
About the role
Owner of the critical facility at a site: power, cooling, fire/life safety, and building systems, plus the mechanical and electrical leads and the contractor base that maintain them.
What you'll do
• Manage mechanical and electrical leads and facility contractors.
• Own the site maintenance program, maintenance windows, and change approvals for facility work.
• Own facility capital and expense budgets and spares inventory.
• Serve as incident commander for facility events and own RCA and corrective actions.
• Manage fire/life safety, EHS compliance, permits, and inspections.
• Track PUE, capacity, and reliability metrics.
• Support commissioning of new capacity.
What we're looking for
• 8+ years critical-facility operations including 2+ years managing technicians or contractors.
• Deep competence in both electrical and mechanical critical systems.
• Budget ownership and vendor contract management experience.
• Strong safety and compliance record.
• NFPA 70E familiarity.
• On-call availability.
• Able to walk the site, climb ladders, and access mechanical and electrical spaces wearing required PPE.
• Must pass a background check and any customer-required site-access screening.
Nice to have
• Data center commissioning experience.
• CFM, CEM, or PE credential.
• Experience with high-density liquid-cooled deployments.
• Multi-building or campus scope.
Compensation
• Full-Time, Exempt
• $120,000 – $155,000/year, DOE
